We are pleased to introduce Jean van Zyl, the latest member to join the All Mountain Technologies Team. We sat down with Jean, a systems engineer, to ask him a few questions to get to know him and what he’s all about. Find out who the man is behind the technology magic.
“I hail from South Africa. I was originally born in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu Natal, but I have extensively traveled around the country until I finally decided to settle down in the goldfields of Klerksdorp in the North West Province approximately 80 miles southwest of Johannesburg. It’s a beautiful place.”
“I attended MSC College, one of the most established colleges in South Africa.”
As a kid I was really engaged with riddles and puzzles and by the age of 12 I had built my own computer, I have loved the field ever since! “There’s always something new to learn, every single day you find something new, and while it can be frustrating, the excitement of finding the solution to a problem tends to get the better of me.”
“In all honesty, I enjoyed every single one of them – each one has led up to where I am today, and I’m grateful for every person I’ve met along the way; and for every wall I’ve walked into five or six times.”
“In my spare time you will find me hopping between video games and motorcycle trips. Nothing beats dragging a knee, dropping a gear, and disappearing.”
