Elizabeth le Roux “Lizzie” is an account manager with All Mountain Technologies. She is fantastic at her job, and we are so happy to have her, so we sat her down to ask a few questions and get to know her better.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
“I grew up in Pinetown, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, and now live in Durbanville, Cape Town, Western Cape in South Africa.”
Where did you go to college?
“I attended the University of South Africa (UNISA) and I majored in business/entrepreneurial law.”
Do you hold any educational degrees or certifications?
“I have a Personal Assistant Diploma, an SHL Test Administration Course certificate, and a Business Communication Course Certificate.”
Why or how did you first become interested in technology?
“Since a young age, I have always had a passion for technology and the infrastructure around it. The passion for the industry grew as technology became the foundation of individual and organizational functioning.”
Why do you love technology today?
“I love technology because of what it can do and provide: from its infrastructure, business processes come alive, businesses start to function, communication starts to happen and so much more!”
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
“I love watching a good (if possible artistic or art) movie, listening to music, spending time with family and friends and going to the spa.”
Are you married and do you have kids or a pet?
“I am single with no kids and would love to have a miniature schnauzer, 5 cats, and 10 golden retrievers one day.”
Besides AMT (of course) what was your favorite job? Why?
“My favorite job was when I just arrived in Cape Town, as an HR Admin Assistant – it was an amazing environment, with stunning people: I learned, developed and grew immensely in this role.”
What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
“Sweet tea, and a Jane Austin book/movie.”
What are your primary duties here at AMT and what is your favorite aspect of the job?
“My primary duties at AMT are procurement and account management. My favorite aspect of the job is meeting and connecting with the most amazing people and supporting the most delightful clients. And also to grow, develop and build wonderful relationships.”
Is there anything else you would like to add about yourself?
“One of my favorite movies is the Lord of the Rings and the BBC mini-series, Pride and Prejudice. I also have a passion for leadership, development and people!”
